Happy birthday, Em! I know it's still yesterday there as I type, but it gives us more time to celebrate!
Have a good one and make sure you're spoilt rotten. You deserve it!

Bless you, my child, for though you have sinned against the Dutchman, you have lightened my spirit and enabled me to leave the path of terror for the verdant fields of vengeance, though with no blood on my hands. For once. In The Corner

Happy B-day!
"We were listening to the UNC radio (station) there and they were playing an R.E.M. song. I like R.E.M. fine, but at the end of it, the DJ says, 'Ya that was R.E.M., the sound of the new South'. I looked at my roommate and we said, Gawd, if that's the sound of the new South, I preferred it when it was on the skids. That's how we got the name."

Happy Birthday, hope you have a great day.
"Of course you liked early R.E.M. best," I want to say. "You were 17 years old and drunk on tequila and in love with a girl who didn't know you existed, and 'Harborcoat' summed up your melancholy mood like it was written just for you."

Happy Birthday Em!
