A newer wider more colourful version (updated to, and including, Twickenham)

By the way Perfect Circle at Twickenham was the 75th different song played this year according to that.

Lo and behold, a very useful wiki-like website where you can upload setlists and see statistics of the songs performed live by any band, overall or during a particular tour - if any setlists have been uploaded, of course. I've linked you to R.E.M.'s Accelerate Tour stats, but thanks to a kind murmursian who had a lot of free time recently (guess who), you can see the same thing for their past tours. Feel free to add any useful information to the R.E.M. setlists or do the same thing for other bands. And no, this post isn't spam!

It seems as though REM has one of the most developed setlist stats on this site. ]
Thanks to whoever took the time to do this.

Always good to see stuff like this put together! Good efforts!
Nevertheless, someone should sync this site with R.E.M. Chronicle http://www.remchronicle.com/index.php and R.E.M. Timeline http://www.remtimeline.com/. Not sure which one is more complete, but Chronicle lists 1377 gigs while this new site only lists 939 from what I can see. Sirely there must be a way to convert and sync the basic data?

No problem - as for who am I, I'm just a guy (ah I can hear you groan...) who had a lot of free time in the last months of 2009 and, after stumbling upon the website and realizing that there already were plenty of R.E.M. setlists (2003 onwards, all thanks to one of the guys behind the site, who happens to be a fan of the band), I decided to flesh it all out and add the remainder of the setlists. I'm glad my personal project of sorts has gotten recognition!

I actually used R.E.M. Timeline to add all the setlists that hadn't been uploaded - as for the discrepancy in the number of gigs, it's because a whole bunch of those gigs don't have a setlist, particularly the ones from the early years, and thus there's no point on adding them.
