Hollow Man ain't bad - but that clip of Man Sized Wreath - HOLY FUCKING COW!

That bass line is popping like crazy, Buck sounding like a funk riff during the chorus, the Stipey/Mills harmonies sound so good. The "Give me some" just soars. This song sounds like it's gonna be so very good.
"Closing on a promise after all they've done today, they have earned their voice..."

You can download the Q podcast here:  http://promo.q4music...cast/jury.shtml

To hear the Hollowman snippet jump forward to 21:19
"             " Man Sized Wreath "                     " 31:15

Both sound pretty good if a little familiar.  I think the biggest beef people will have with this album is that it does sound like a "return to form" rather than something different.  But you know what... it's the R.E.M. that a lot of us like.

Still no live Langrado recording? I am so anxious to hear it, especially after hearing 'Hollow Man'.

I really like this one - especially the way the chorus fades in and out. I'm a fan! :)

Thanks a lot, but I can't find the Q podcast for the album - it's for some group called The Jury now.  I've clicked around to find it (I don't want to listen to the Jukebox tracks), but that's okay.  I heard the Hollowman track and it sounds pretty good - not long to wait now!  I'm working on the NPR.com feed now.

That's the one.  The Jury isn't a group.  Go to the times in the post you quoted to hear the snippets.

Thanks to all for posting the various songs and links to parts of songs.

for the ones that do not want to go through the podcast all the time I cut out the snippets and posted them here:

Man-Sized Wreath    http://download.yous...9D26E3401C0BA24

Hollow Man    http://download.yous...7818EE51FF99941

also I notice something on the Hollow Man Live Langerade version, compared to studio version: In live version Stipe sings "I won the prize last night for complicatedness" however in the recorded version he sings "I took the price" ;) I can understand him, first I sang "I won" too, since I guess this is the word everyone would use here and Stipe maybe wanted to put in a more poetical word than this. Maybe he was just unconcentrated? ;)
