Just got two via sandbag pre-sale

Choice was seats on the floor (area) or seats circle

I have gone for the floor and at £45 they had better be at the front!!!

It was limited to two per person.

I've sat in the circle for gigs lots of times at the RAH and the acoustics have been amazing up there.  Never been in the arena or stalls.  I expect the Queen's Boxes have  the best sound!!

were there  just 2 options  for Fan club members- Arena tix at £45.00 and £40.00 circle tix face value ?

now, second question, did fan club members  get the Best Arena/circle section seats allocated ?

and going off subject a bit, cameras- i saw Eric clapton and The Cure charity gig at the R.a.h  and  both times  the R.a.h Security  were  warning people for taking pics on  the Areana and in  the  Stalls.
so i suggest disposable cameras and slimline digi non-pro cams to be  safe, plus  do'nt  go mad with  flash if poss.

I logged in dead on 9am, and that was all that came up. Went for 2 x £45. A couple of mins later only the £40 ones were available, so must have sold out pdq.

Does that mean the Live Nation presale will have the £55 tickets?

If you go in now it says:

"OUR ALLOCATION OF TICKETS HAS NOW SOLD OUT. TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE IN THE GENERAL SALE FROM TICKETMASTER ON 15/02/08".

I bloody well hope there won't be better tickets for sale through Ticketb*std!
A work colleague said he thinks the capacity of RHA is about 6000, so I don't know what percentage were for sale to the fanclub members.

Well if the only tickets on Sandbag were £40 & 45 then the £55 ones have to be available somewhere. I'm going to try the LiveNation presale tomorrow.

me  too dead on  the button, glad i clicked on buy option and  then looked around  here trying to find  out  what tix options *were* in the fan club pre-sale.

i did  think that  the arena  seats  would  have been  the  £55.00 option, but it looks like  they will be on pre-sale wed via  or Livenation and those  £55.00 tix  will prob be  for Stalls, loggia, boxes.

now if  you want  the best  views, arena Front blocks (very near stage) though and  Front Stalls (g1/h1/o1/m2) are  the best  imho.

balcony and circle offer the worst views=further  away and higher.
tbh  the  seating  options  at  the Rah are not  as clear  as  other  venues ie.loggia, boxes , stalls and arena, balcony , circle.

http://www.royalalbe...st=info,seating

edit
--------
arena  seating plan  is  for the Proms set up not reg gig like  Rem's charity concert.
but it's better than  ticketmasters as  you  can  see  a pretty good idea of what section you are in.

He must have meant standing then. There's a BBC web article today about that twat Doherty playing a gig there (sign of the times that he made the news and not REM), and it says the venue has "an official capacity of more than 5,500". His "lucky" punters must get to stand then!

Pete Doherty's songs are actually rather good, my son plays a lot of his stuff and there's not one song that I don't like.  I'd like to see him live (assuming that he'd turn up:rolleyes:)
