Just to save Sandbag answering the same thing repeatedly, I emailed earlier and it is in tomorrow's sale.

That makes it so tempting.. i just don't know what to do!!!

Spend all my money on this or wait and see if there'll be any Irish dates?

Same problem, I'm waiting for Scottish dates - maybe try and get a ticket for the Albert Hall gig incase for some reason the UK dates aren't great and then you could always sell it if you end up going to one in Ireland instead?

That's a really good idea..they're going to be at a premium i'm sure. Depends on how much money you've got in your account when the UK tickets go on sale though! I mean you might have to go overdrawn if you haven't sold your RAH ticket!

I'm considering going to the show, but I'm a little confused with all the other artists performing, too. But it is a proper R.E.M. concert, right? Even though it's a charity thing?

I should warn you that based on the Goldfrapp pre-sale that Sandbag did, they won't tell you what tickets you've got, just the section. I think it was the same for Dublin if you had seats.

Yes - you're right it was like that for Dublin.  Didn't know where our seats where til they arrived by post and then found out my daughter & I were split on either side of an aisle which wasn't ideal.

Says on the RAH site no cameras allowed. Are they strict on this, anyone know?

I took my camera to a David Gilmour concert there two years ago. Admittedly there was enough flashing from the stage let alone the crowd, but I was able to get it in no problem.

If in doubt, hide it in your socks :)

There are standing places when the proms are on so I hope the same will apply. I always found the acoustics very good because of the relecters on the roof, they have really put a lot of thought into projecting the sound around. I once listended to a single Piano solo there and I could here it perfectly.:)

Will the RAH tix go on sale via Sandbag, or will we have to take our chances with the venue's ticket office? Why haven't they announced the other UK dates? Posted Image

Yes you can buy on Sandbag - R.E.M Hq says "more UK dates to follow" so it sound quite soon to me.
