right, time for pablo to snuggle up to his nice hat and scarf in his cardboard box and go home... ;) first some piccies from his trip to dublin, though.
pablo was happy to meet molly malone, affectionally known as the tart with the cart because allegedly she sold more than just cockles and mussles. hence, one assumes, her impressive cleavage. he also got to see ha' penny bridge, called that because it used to cost a halfpenny to cross it, and he really enjoyed chilling on o'connell bridge. behind him, on o'connell street, are the statue of daniel o'connell the liberator and the highest sculpture on earth, generally known as the millenium spire, officially known as the monument to light and popularly known as bertie's prick. next pic is still on o'connell bridge with dublin through the ages along the liffey. from front to back it's the 1960's trade union hq, the 19th century railway bridge, the 18th century custom house and the 21st century docklands redevelopment. the next three are all of pablo worshipping at (well on) oscar wilde's feet. i guess the first one is the most useful one, but i wanted to get the whole monument, with the two torsos and all. the left side represents his straight side and the right his gay one. next one has pablo mostly obscured by a passer-by (twat ;)) checking out the beautiful georgian houses on merrion square, and he also got to meet the late, great phil lynott. :D and i took the rainbow one just for the hell of it really... ;)

More wonderful pictures! And the Hartford connection is great! I think it'll be a nice tie in for his report and show the kids how we're all connected!

*lol* and you're a spoiled brat! ;) when i first started coming here from germany it cost about 600 marks (300 eur) and i either had to go down to duesseldorf (4 hours) to get a flight or change planes en route. now i can fly to hamburg with aer lingus or bremen with ryanair, it's great. :)

Well Astrid to get back on track... :)
Pablo made it home safe and sound! Andrew was so excited to get it open and see what Pablo had been up to!!! Thank you everyone. Mary you did an awesome job on the notebook, hat/scarf and disc! Julie thank you for the post cards and flyers (Andrew loved them)! And Astrid thanks for all the great pics I haven't gotten a chance to look at the disc, but I'm sure we'll have plenty of material for the report. And thank you to Lucy and Trix too, I'll download your pictures and the stories from the thread for the report from Pablo 1.0's adventures! By the way, has he ever shown up anywhere? Or is he still on holiday on Easter Island? ;)
I'll keep you updated on how it all turns out with the report and all!
Thank you again all sooooo much!!!!!

the disc really has the same pictures as i posted here, plus two or three i rejected but then thought you might disagree with me about. i thought i'd just put them there, too, so they'd be easier to print out. amazed he made it home so fast, btw, i only got to send him on friday morning!

I'm glad he made it home in one piece! :)
And I'm eager to hear if Pablo v.1 ever pops up anywhere...you never know, I guess!

He never showed up here... I bet he's drinking caipirinhas in Ipanema.;)
Andrea--

Ah; the Andrea blockage. Sorry to hear that the creative juices have ceased to flow and a danged beaver has dammed the rushing waters of positive thought.Twistedkitemike
Bless you, my child, for though you have sinned against the Dutchman, you have lightened my spirit and enabled me to leave the path of terror for the verdant fields of vengeance, though with no blood on my hands. For once. In The Corner
