The whole "niblet" thing from 1999.

Sandi (cricketmachine) was in front of the stage at one of the R.E.M. shoes in Atlanta and grabbed a small piece of one of Stipe's shoes.   She posted pictures of the shoe "niblet" afterwards.

Just one of the many surreal and wacky things that define Murmurs.com for all of us, but that one sort of set a precedent.

By the way, has anyone enlisted Peter Buck's rim job services yet? All attempts to crank call the number he provided suggests it has been disconnected. :(
For a Morrissey-clubbin' good time, visit: http://froggyandwoodman.blogspot.com/ So indie, it's not even marketed outside Murmurs, sucka.

Who is the homosexual Matthew McConaughey in the hat?
Some kind of singing. They sound like all kinds of people, right? And then it says another child is born in India every time you call this number, right? Does that make any sense to you?
And the guy that spoke--I don't know who he is. But that--it doesn't sound like no answering machine, right?

Hey, you be nice, now! I can't recall his name just at the moment, but he's a very dear friend. Of a friend. Sort of.

Just be nice.

Thanks. I was thinking "TJ" but wasn't sure. Good to hear he's still around. Seemed like a nice guy. Kinda cute too. ;)

I'll probably get booed and hissed at for saying this but the whole Bill Miller thing was just hysterical to me. Completely unforgettable. Also, all the Athens feak meets. Those were great *sigh*

I could never forget about the whole Bill Miller thing, as a matter of fact, I still gross my cousin out with his pictures of him in his sumo thong!!!  How come I haven't heard of any feak meetings lately:(

Where on earth...oh, nevermind. The internet has EVERYTHING.

Wish I'd been around here long enough to know these folk tales, though, I can think of something somewhat recently that should go down in the annals. Or anals. Whatevs.

It definitely has to be something that can go through the end.

Pain through the end!!
Remember that? I suppose it was a little mean to the guy who wrote those lyrics but the ensuing conversation was priceless.
I wonder how much of the old board is archived? There be treasure in them  hills.

How could I forget that? Hopefully, when he came back he took the whole issue with humour, which makes it even more awesome.

I really wish I could find that ode to Bill Miller I once wrote.
