second time now. i swear one of neighbour must have ripped off while paying her bills, or maybe it was that suit and tie guy who had his phoneline cut off 'cause according to his bill, he owed a telcom 800 bucks. i dunno why they wanna provide such a service, using such a slow paper-wasting system, in a high-theft area. forces us to store way too much cash . ideally, according to security recommendations, we should be storing no more 300-600 in the safe. now, it's as much as 5000 on a weekday. and most of that isn't a profit for the company. it's going all to the telcoms and the electricity monopoly. i'm not sure if that last line would be considered a seditious comment.

can't say i like filipinos as much as i used to, but i hope that filipino doesn't become the fallguy for a poor outdated system after i leave.

or fall to the dark side and organise some guys to steal from himself. probably not worth it. someone already tried that. including the cigarrettes, robbing an average store clean would just bring in just about half a year's worth of money from working a regular blue-collared job. and then you gotta leave the country. leave a country surrounded by with countries that pay less and dump more illegal immgrants into the sea... with no extradition laws with this one, so that's one perk. skip into a neighbouring country(and vice-versa), and you're pretty much scot-free. i wonder if interpol does anything about that. meh, i'm going off-topic.

Fuck you Ameren Electricity.

I am so glad for you to forget that the guy above me missed his rent and turning off my electric twice. At least, I get to clean out my fridge.

my modem required a reset over the weekend for some reason, and the tech support didn't work on weekends. annoying. the hard reset didn't work like last time, but the software reset did. and the instructions have always been on the backpage of the instructions, which i never noticed or used.

if it gives me any more trouble before the end of the month, maybe i should just replace the whole damn thing. or get a faster cable subscription.

strange. had to reboot the modem again. i have to reboot it each time i change my password too?

You are a part time employee.  Your hours are 9:00 to 2:00.  You finally show up for work anywhere between 9:30 and 10:00.  An hour is then spent wandering around talking  and giggling (mainly with your male supervisor who eats it up).  The next hour is used for taking care of personal business on the phone.  The time between 12:00 & 1:00 you are to answer the phone for the receptionist to go to lunch - most of the time you do.  Between 1:00 - 2:00 you take your half hour lunch break (yes, I know that is actually an hour but obviously she doesn't!)  and then after your grueling day you leave.  You are supposed to be the receptionist's backup the whole time you are here but it is always being forwarded to me instead.  You receive the same paid holidays and amount of vacation that everyone else does and you are part time!

FUCK YOU!!!!!!

edit: fucking hell. my ex-employer is demanding money from me even though they haven't paid me for my last day of work. i should be suing them if i actually had any money for that. seem to think i was paid an extra month for the month i quit. i never got a single fucking cent.

looks like there's nothing wrong with my pc... other than random windows errors. both my RAM chips were loose. weird. those things have very tight slots. not like i kick the machine everyday. maybe the funky weather/temperature these days are making them gradually slide out.

I had to replace my puter a couple months back, and 2 weeks later my monitor started acting up (it was dark down the left side and gradually became viewable) so I ended up getting a new one. Then, a week later my printer/scanner/fax thingy/card reader/catheter went to hell.... Yeah, I replaced it too.

Now I need a Geek Squad battery unit...well, I don't know that I really NEED it, that's what the dude at BestBuy told me. I think he works on commission__the bastard!

found out by trial and error that my newer RAM chip is defective. i used it for like a little over one year... which i guess really isn't such a big deal since they're making computers like they're very expensive disposable products these days. and probably most electronics. hardly find anything that comes with more than a 1 year warranty.

This one is dedicated to our neighbours and their fucking cat; said cat keeps attacking our kitten and is constantly skulking around outside our house. This morning it chased Massigoux, our kitten, through the house and was quite vicious with her.....

It also made me leave the sofa.

To whoever left residues of pickled herring, onion and pepper smeared out in the sink on my shift. Who eats pickled herring for breakfast?!
