I haven't been paid since Dec 15. I've done a bunch of work since then. What's up with that?

WTF?  That's like three weeks.  That *really* sucks. Are they gonna give you lollipops to live on in the mean-time?  Sheesh.....  I had that happen once last year.  The overdraft was pretty high on my account that month.

Mine:
NO, for the THIRD time this afternoon, I will NOT come in to work an overtime night shift.   I earn my days off, and I'm sick of being harassed just because management can't staff the place properly.  And NO, I will not blame my co-workers for calling in sick, you miserable wench of a manager.  We do NOT "do this to ourselves".   High sick-time use is an indicator of either a bug going around, or BURN-OUT.  Neither of which is self-inflicted.  Maybe if the place was better managed, and my regular shifts weren't so stressful, I might work more overtime. Did ya think about that?  Vicious circle isn't it?   Grrr.....

That's really depressing, considering you're halfway round the world from me.
Plot to overthrow the managers!

Suck our upset.
Some kind of singing. They sound like all kinds of people, right? And then it says another child is born in India every time you call this number, right? Does that make any sense to you?
And the guy that spoke--I don't know who he is. But that--it doesn't sound like no answering machine, right?

erm... don't really have anything to say f%ck to. only specific thingy i could complain about right now is that the "career guidance" session i had from some old maid-ish counsellor wasn't very useful. just got some general job-searching and interview tips from her. when i asked about finding out more about IT career trends or anything related to that, she just referred me to another office, and the other office couldn't help me unless i have specific names. names of lecturers and tutors i couldn't remember from 4... well actually 5 years ago.  my last year on that diploma course was mostly spent on 1 large project and an internship, so i didn't really see much of the school staff for that year.

EDIT: wow. i would have been saying the same thing as what pebs and DTE said except i tend to work on sick days unless i have something really infectious like chicken pox. then again, i may not care enough about my co-workers even for chicken pox. heh.
Good times, I'm okay. Bad times, I'm okay.

I also have a strong identity with this. This time last year I was suffering with burn out (masses of accrued time in lieu, new in job, needing to impress etc). This year, I'm looking after my health better, thank you. Sod the work. No one ever had written on their gravestone "I wish I'd spent more time at work". It ain't worth making yourself ill over.

And your post could have been written by me...several times over many years. Why do I never learn:confused:

Mr. don't-tell-me-about-pressure physics teacher, FUCK YOU for making us determine over 60 percent of our grades in the span of two days, and especially after the winter holiday. A quiz followed by a test is just plain insanity. It's bad enough that one bad day could potentially ruin our GPAs and the chances of getting into excellent colleges as we Charter students should do.

Oh yeah, and fuck you, genetics, for making me such a physics idiot.

Fuck New Years beyond belief, I'd rather it had never happened. And FUCK whoever insisted on all this stupid self-assessment shit that we have to put on the end of our projects just so they can check the fucking lazy-asses are doing some work so I have to waste my fucking time when I could be doing something more useful.
