I thought it would be fun to have a thread devoted to Bill poems, we are such a talented lot here I am sure we can come up with some really good ones, here is mine........

Bill, I miss you night and day
Ever since with REM, you no longer play
If I could see you again, I'm sure I'd be fine
So please consider playing with REM one more time

By the way -

does anyone remember the rules for a Haiku?

We could start writing Haikus.

Japanese haiku have been traditionally composed in 5-7-5 syllables. When poets started writing English haiku in the 1950's, they adopted this 5-7-5 form, thinking it created a similar condition for English-language haiku. This style is what is generally considered "traditional" English haiku.

very, very nice:)

it is becoming very obvious that you and I are the only one's with poetic talent in this forum.

I look forward to you're next contribution........I realise I am being demanding on you're poetic flair...but without your excellent contributions.....this thread would be a complete failure :)
