It has to be with teenage boys around. One time, I had a mascara blob and instesd of telling me discreetly to go fix it Grunting Boy said in a loud voice that my make up looked "like a blind monkey had applied it."

Don't you just love them.  I had my hair done slightly funky last time, instead of neat. I met my son in town for lunch straight after and he said 'bloody hell did they plug you into the mains'.  Funnily enough I don't miss his comments like that. Or his dirty washing.
