REM Tour Section Launched

In the same theme as REMDublin from last year, http://tour.remhq.com has launched to allow fans content from the tour to be indexed and featured on REMhq. Another Murmurs/WBR/REM collaboration in development, the site will index specifically tagged photos, twitter tweets, videos and blogs.

If you're going tonight, simply tag content remvanbc on Flickr and YouTube, or #remvanbc on Twitter or your Blog.

Other dates will ahve similar tags (ie, rembowl, etc)

Great pics and updates from the Vancouver show! Thanks very much for that!

Now, just wondering for the less-than-savvy tech types like myself, all I would need to do is put whatever the code is (in my case the Toronto show) as the tag on my Flickr photo or YouTube vid, or if I create a blog entry on a non-private blog and make the first line the designated code for the show, then it will then show up on the tour site?

I know I risked sounding stupid on this, but I'd prefer to ask rather than muck around with it not knowing what to do in a couple weeks. Thanks in advance for your help!

Well, I did forget my camera, and Yensen's didn't work out when we tried it, but there were a ton of people with camera's last night, and many of them shooting youtube-able footage, but no guarantees as to how many of them are murmur folk that know to tag their stuff as specifically "remvanbc".
Give 'em a day or two, and I'm sure you'll see more footage.

"Ignoreland" is an interesting choice, it fits in well with an Accelerate setlist, and is quite topical I guess being a year for politics.
