Michael in latest 1 Giant Leap

EPISODE 1 HI RES TRAILER: BOMBARDMENT
by whataboutme

Remember the 2002 CD on which Michael Stipe dueted The Way You Dream? Well here's the follow-up. Or rather, here's episode one of a video series trailing the new disc on Channel 4 from today. Stipe excerpt from 22 secs.

So is that song a new one that will be on this album? Is it Stipe alone or another collaboration?

Thanks for the info. First time round, this was a truly beautiful and inspired project which had the nerve not to let the worthiness of its central idea swallow the diversity, energy and fun of its contributors. A brilliant and utterly consummate work. I'm looking forward to the next chapter.

Cool. :) I liked his first track with 1 Giant Leap and Asha Bhosle. Seems like this new track is more electronic, with more collaborating artist in the track, than The Way You Dream.

MICHAEL SINGS ON 1 GIANT LEAP RE-LAUNCH

1 Giant Leap creators Jamie Catto and Duncan Bridgeman are set to re-launch the follow up to 2002's Grammy-nominated "The Unity in Diversity" sometime in the coming year, and Michael, once again, will lend his vocal talents to the pair's project. This time around, Michael has recorded "I Have Seen Trouble" with South African vocalist Aluta Continua. Their duet will appear on a sixteen track album, "What About Me," which also features Daniel Lanois and K.D. Lang.

Stay tuned for more details.
