A special treat for New Music Tuesday is a Vincent Moon Take Away Show on iTunes, of R.E.M. doing an acoustic "Living Well is the Best Revenge" while riding around Athens in Michael's station wagon. It's good to see the band so willing to a) give us stuff most of us would probably pay for b) release things for viewing that are so un-guarded.

For a fun, free video, people are being pretty harsh with their ratings on I-Tunes. I actually think the acoustics sound great on the song, although the vocals (especially Mills') sound pretty bad. Overall though, the video is pretty awesome. Good to see them having fun with the new music.

This is wonderful fun. The acoustic nature of this and the Supernatural video clips harkens back to their acoustic promotional tour for Out of Time, which bodes quite well in my mind for the direction of the tour and the band itself. Hooray!
