If folks haven't done so yet, I suggest checking out the works of the man who penned the song, John Prine. He has been one of my favorites since I first started getting into music back in the early to mid-70s. And as far as writing songs, he is among the very best out there. I would be hard pressed to name one bad song he's written. Songs I like less than others? Sure but I don't think he's ever written a bad one.

truer words haven't been spoken. that is quite an excellent dvd. i've also got the maniacs' cover of hello in there. it's how i've come to know john prine and is the only thing of his i have. well related anyway. i also love their live version of my mother the war that's on time capsule. that was a way to do a dvd and a way to make videos. thanks for the memories.
