Word reaches us that UK radio station Xfm has posted a Beat The Intro game to its website, here.
It's much like the similar iPod minigame. Test your R.E.M. knowledge - how quickly can you name a series of R.E.M. tracks, from the intros alone?
Clock up a quick enough score to post your name to the top-50 leaderboard for all to see...

R.E.M. play Cardiff International Arena this evening. Mobile signal allowing, I might try doing a couple of live broadcasts again - so, if you see a man with too much stubble and a black backpack holding a Nokia, come and tell me what you thought of the gig.

A member of the R.E.M. touring crew is twittering live from the road on twitter. Twitter is a messaging tool that lets you subscribe to other people's small updates (140 characters or less).
These tweets (as they are called) are getting aggregated on R.E.M.,'s tour site when tagged (see the upper left of Murmurs for that nights show tag).

Pitchfork.Tv is featuring a full screening of the legendary documentary "Athens, GA Inside Out" which features a very young R.E.M. performing in the same chapel that they recorded Accelerate in.
